I was pleased to see each of the 9 Tenants who turned up for the weekly computer club in their block of flats. Some had already collared a Volunteer, keen to discover what else they can do on the web or help unravel tech knots. Was I foolish perhaps to dare disturb such promising proceedings to try something new? It was great to be at the meeting of the Social Housing Strategy Group last thursday. I agreed with Jane (Beaton) that we don't need to wait till all the infrastructure is in place and the conditions are perfect. I've been encouraged by the progress of a group of Edinburgh sheltered housing Tenants in getting online and more confident.
