Website development - any advice?

Here at Soha we're about to go through the process of redeveloping our website. I've been tasked with drafting a project outline (and eventually, the tender request). Has anyone here recently undergone a similar project? If so, can you give me any advice? I'm keen to know what to avoid as well as what to specify. The project itself will involve a focus group of residents, but before I get that far I need to decide, for instance, whether to employ a consultant to tell us the sort of questions we…See More

What's the best social media for collaborating with involved residents?

I've been asked to research different social media channels to enable staff at our HA to collaborate with involved residents. Does anyone have any experience of using social media for specific projects? We've used Facebook in the past, but the other options I'm going to look at include: Yammer, Google+, Ning, LinkedIn and blogging platforms.Any advice welcome!See More
