A free ‘Be Online’ Drop In will be held between 11am and 2pm on Wednesday 8th March 2017 at Springwell Gardens Community Centre.  The event will include a mixture of stalls to help you get online, a prize quiz and a free buffet. Fortem’s Smart bus will also be parked outside.

Volunteer digital champions will be on hand to help  and show you how getting online is fun, easy and can save you money. Digital champions can provide one to one support and  show  you how simple and accessible getting online can be.  Bring your own computer tablet or smart phone or try one of ours and find out how getting online can make a big difference to your life. 

Stalls represented at the Drop In include SuperFast South Yorkshire, Learning Community, RMBC Your Account and Voluntary Action Rotherham  Steve Ruffle from Rotherham Digital Inclusion Network which organised this event  said “the Be Online drop is for everyone in Rotherham.  Whether you are confident in using the internet or anxious about cyberspace, come along have a bite to eat with us and find out more about being online.”
