Digital Housing Hub - #digihousing

where social housing providers meet to help their residents embrace the web

Did you know that ONS now includes local authority-level data on internet usage?  Useful if you are looking for up-to-date estimates for your business case regarding the number of offliners in your area.

Check out: http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/publications/re-reference-tables.html?edi...

The tabs you are particularly interested in are 4A and 4B.  So, for example, in Sheffield, 89,000 are offline (19.6% of the population)

If you have an interest in all things research, especially around the digital agenda, why not head on over to http://social-digitalresearch.ning.com/ - it's a place to gather data and discussions around this subject.  And it's FREE.

Question: Do you use a particular data set to help you with your research into digital exclusion for your area?  If so, which ones, why and how?
